Emily is an avid hiker, outdoor enthusiast, and turtle-lover. She is deeply passionate about sustainability and living a low-waste lifestyle. While currently based in Toronto, she has lived in numerous places in Canada, including growing up near the beautiful beaches of Georgian Bay, and most recently residing on the South Shore of Nova Scotia (the Atlantic Ocean will always have her heart).

She is happiest when reading a great book in a city green space, exploring a farmer’s market, wandering through mossy woods, or finding stillness in nature. 

Emily received an undergraduate degree in English Language & Literature from UWO, as well as a Master of Library & Information Studies from McGill. She hopes to utilize her love for writing/editing, and capturing and organizing information in her role as Blog Assistant. 

She is excited to be an advocate for the environment, and work with A Greener Future to help protect our incredible planet.
