Join A Greener Future and TRCA on May 24th at Woodbine Beach, Toronto from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM for a fun, impactful litter cleanup that goes beyond just picking up trash.
This event is part of the Floatables Waste Collaborative Action in Lake Ontario project supporting the Toronto Inner Harbour Floatables Strategy. The project aims to deliver public education and community actions to prevent floatable plastic and litter pollution from entering Toronto waterways and Lake Ontario.
Our mission isn’t just about cleaning up—it’s about reclaiming our natural spaces, building community, and showing that small actions lead to big environmental change. Since 2016, our volunteers have removed over 1.3 million pieces of litter from Lake Ontario's shores, and with your help, we’ll push past the next milestone!
What to Expect:
All supplies and equipment provided
An opportunity to meet like-minded community members
High school community service hours available
Note: The cost of parking is not included in registration.
Sign up today and be a part of this eco-adventure—together, we can create a cleaner, healthier environment for all!
