Alisha grew up in Bruce County where she formed a strong bond with nature and a passion for protecting it. Her passion grew more in 2016 when she learned about plastic pollution at an internship in Malaysia. She has since begun her journey to live a more sustainable lifestyle. In her spare time she loves to knit, do yoga, and photography.

Alisha is an engineer with a passion for solving problems. She holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Ontario Tech University. Having worked in the clean energy industry for 2 years, she has gained an appreciation for her connection to environmental problems and her ability to counteract them. She hopes to inspire positive environmental change through her contributions at A Greener Future.
